EVENTS

In 2002 Jock Hildebrand was founder and lead organizer of the Okanagan Thompson
International Sculpture Symposium which resulted in monumental pieces of public art distributed throughout 8 communities in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada.  The project took 2 years to organize with a budget totalling 1.8 million dollars.  This project became the springboard for numerous projects he's been asked to consult on over the years as listed below.

What we offer:

Assistance with the coordination and management of symposiums and other art-related events – this can include, but is not limited to:

  • Selection of participating artists (call for artists including research, request for proposals, short-listing and final selection)
  • Site selection and site preparation (appropriate location(s), required materials, etc.)
  • Budgets and Timelines
  • Administrative needs (correspondence, participation agreements, insurance, etc.)
  • Program planning (ceremonies, lectures, workshops, etc).
